University
Do you want to become a pilot? Do you want to join a rapidly growing industry, ripe with opportunity? Capital Airways has what you need. In an innovative move, we have partnered with the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton to offer a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Certificate in Business Administration with an Aviation component.
Students have the option of flying and taking classes year-round and completing their four-year degree in only three years; or fly during fall, winter and intersession terms and completing their program in four years. Upon receipt of their commercial licence, ( incl night, IFR and mult engine ratings)– students will receive 15 credit hours towards their UNB program.
Graduates have been quite successful in finding career opportunities that suit their goals. Have a look at UNB's College of Extended Learning site for more on this program!
Capital Airways handles all the flight training on their modern fleet. Students earn the following: Private Pilot Licence, Night Rating, Commercial Pilot Licence, Multi-Engine Rating, and Instrument Rating.
Students graduate with glass-cockpit experience and time on the Piper Navajo, one of the most commonly used charter aircraft in North America.
So why a degree? These days, airlines and corporate-level flight companies will not hire a pilot without a degree. Prepare for an unforgettable experience with classes that engage and excite -- this year's graduating aviation students travelled to Boston for the Transportation Research Forum!
